Comet: The primary goal was to demo the collection metadata functionalities.

Daylight: The focus was on setting up and documenting a local developer work environment.

Lark: The aim was a demo deployment.

What is the milestone that this sprint is supporting?

Comet: Demonstrating the collection metadata capabilities.

Daylight: Establishing a foundation for the developer experience (DX) to facilitate micro frontend development.

Lark: Preparing for a deployment demo and addressing frontend development requirements.

Accomplishments of Comet Sprint 34 / Daylight Sprint 6 / Lark Sprint 9:

Comet:

  • Giving 'Projects' its own section for improved visibility.
  • Adding additional metadata fields to the collection records.
  • Prepared a demo of the collection metadata.

Daylight:

  • Completed the setup and documentation of the developer work environment.
  • Prepared detailed documentation for easier onboarding and usage of the developer environment.

Did we do everything we set out to accomplish? 

Lark:

  • Postponed the deployment due to a critical local issue at UCSB.

What’s next?

Daylight: Development of components focused on the homepage of the default Blacklight micro frontend.

Comet: Continue discussions and development of functionality related to the separation of Collections and Projects.
