Comet Sprint 43/ Daylight Sprint 15 Review (May 14 – Jun 2, 2025)

Comet Sprint 43 / Daylight Sprint 15

What were the goals of Comet Sprint 43 / Daylight Sprint 15

Daylight: Demo a connected Daylight.

Comet: To continue work on core Comet functionality, and getting the new QA and sandbox environments up and running.

What is the milestone that this sprint is supporting?

Daylight: Demo a connected Daylight, Comet, Lark, IIIF, etc., including Daylight production deployment patterns.

Comet: Establishing the QA and sandbox environments is a critical milestone in strengthening our infrastructure ahead of production deployment. The QA environment will enable more efficient and systematic testing and validation of new features, significantly improving our ability to identify and resolve issues prior to release compared to previous workflows.

Accomplishments of Comet Sprint 43 / Daylight Sprint 15

Daylight

  • Made significant strides in advancing our Figma design prototype
  • Successfully consolidated all components to be served from a single directory named Registry
  • Integrated API endpoint functionality into the Results List component, followed by subsequent updates to the Simple Pager component; delivering connectivity to Comet

What’s next?

Daylight: More of the same, continue integrations with API endpoints that support a connected Daylight

Comet: We are finalizing the environment design efforts and completing the full set of Comet features, based on the shared list of MVP items.
